Hardcore Grading Solutions for Global Mining Operations

YZDS Type Vibrating Screen

High-Capacity Screening Design Engineered for Extreme Industrial Loads

The YZDS Type Vibrating Screen is a high-performance, circular-motion classification system meticulously engineered to meet the aggressive demands of heavy-duty mining, mineral processing plants, and bulk material handling industries. This series stands out as an ideal industry solution for processing massive volumes of raw stones, metallic ores, coal, and highly abrasive aggregates up to 200mm in size. Built with an exceptionally robust structural frame and powered by advanced industrial excitation technology, the YZDS screen delivers an intense and reliable vibration profile that ensures peak screening capacity while dramatically lowering operational overhead and minimizing unplanned downtime.

To guarantee continuous durability under relentless material impact, the YZDS series features leading technical parameters and an innovative structural configuration. We offer comprehensive engineering flexibility to seamlessly adapt to diverse industrial site layouts, providing single-deck designs as standard, alongside fully customizable double-deck or non-standard multi-deck configurations based on complex technological requirements. Plant operators can precisely select their screen deck media based on material abrasiveness, moisture content, and particle size distribution, choosing from high-strength spring steel woven wire mesh, heavy-duty perforated steel plates, or premium polyurethane panels. Additionally, the system integrates premium rubber isolation springs to ensure a low-noise working environment and guarantee that the heavy machine passes through the resonance zone smoothly during startup and shutdown, prioritizing the safety of the plant foundation.

How Does It Work?

Advanced Excitation Technology for Aggressive Dynamic Forces

The fundamental operation of the YZDS Type Vibrating Screen is driven by its unique and precise excitation logic. The equipment utilizes two or more high-quality vibration motors as the main excitation source. When the exciters rotate circularly, the generated centrifugal inertial forces compel the entire screen box to vibrate. Because the mounting position of the exciters relative to the overall center of gravity of the machine is calculated with absolute scientific precision, every single point on the screen box follows a synchronized circular motion at the exact same frequency as the excitation shaft.

Highly Efficient Material Stratification and Non-Blinding Action

This distinct circular motion trajectory delivers significant kinetic and aerodynamic advantages for large-scale bulk material handling. Materials traveling across the inclined screen deck are subjected to continuous parabolic tossing motions. Under the intense action of these circular forces, oversized lumps are thrown high and tumbled thoroughly, allowing finer particles to rapidly migrate down through the voids of the material bed to contact the screen deck. This motion profile forces raw materials into an optimized stratification layer, where fine particles stay at the bottom and coarse materials remain at the top. Furthermore, unlike conventional linear movement, the normal component force generated by the circular motion continuously and effectively ejects particles trapped within the screen apertures, drastically lowering the risk of deck blinding and ensuring a consistent material passage under severe load conditions.

What Are Its Uses?

Diverse Specifications for Mass Bulk Material Classification

The YZDS series provides an extremely comprehensive range of structural specifications to perfectly match various production scales. With deck areas extending from small 0.5 square meter units to heavy-duty industrial models exceeding 4.37 square meters, the processing capacity of the series scales from 5 tons up to 250 tons per hour. This exceptional scaling capacity makes it a premier choice for grading everything from fine granular substances to large 200mm mineral boulders. The optimized dual-amplitude range of 6 to 8mm ensures that materials across the entire length of the screen deck receive sufficient throwing and stratification energy, thereby guaranteeing high-purity product outputs.

Cross-Series Technical Integration and Circuit Optimization

As a cornerstone of heavy-duty classification, the YZDS series integrates seamlessly with our other industrial solutions to form a streamlined, high-performance production loop. If your material processing route demands finer sizing, dewatering, or desliming rather than aggressive coarse sizing, the ZS Series Linear Vibrating Screen with its controlled linear trajectory is the recommended choice. For exceptionally severe open-pit mining environments, the YK Type Mining Vibrating Screen offers alternative impact resistance. Additionally, for operations where secondary precise screening is required after bulk classification, and the equipment must be installed on high-floor factory structures or steel platforms, we strongly advise pairing your circuit with the PSLS Type Fully Balanced Vibrating Screen. The PSLS utilize unique three-mass balancing technology to counteract dynamic forces, forming a perfectly complementary layout with the rubber-dampened YZDS units.

Why does the YZDS series utilize rubber springs instead of traditional steel springs?

The implementation of specialized rubber isolation springs on large-scale screening machinery is a critical engineering strategy. Rubber materials possess exceptionally high internal damping characteristics. This not only significantly dampens structural operational noise but, more importantly, ensures that the massive equipment maintains superior stability during the volatile split-seconds of starting up and shutting down. This helps the machine pass through the resonance zone smoothly, effectively preventing violent shaking from causing fatigue damage to heavy-duty industrial concrete and steel foundations

How do we choose between woven wire mesh and perforated screen plates?

The choice is dictated primarily by the maximum feed size and the impact forces of your bulk material. Spring steel woven wire mesh delivers a substantially higher open-area percentage, making it ideal for mid-to-fine grain classification where maximum volumetric throughput is the primary target. On the other hand, heavy-duty perforated steel plates are recommended for circuits handling massive feed sizes up to 200mm and highly abrasive minerals, as they maintain superior structural integrity and an extended wear life under extreme heavy-load impacts

Can the YZDS series effectively handle high-moisture or sticky minerals?

Yes, it can. The circular motion trajectory of the YZDS series inherently provides a natural defense against screen blinding. The throwing kinetic energy generated by the circular path keeps damp materials highly active, continuously popping wedged particles out of the apertures. For extremely sticky mineral applications, we highly recommend fitting the decks with premium polyurethane panels or using a variable frequency drive to fine-tune the vibration frequency, maximizing the self-cleaning effect of the system.
