ZS Type Vibrating Screen
High-Efficiency Grading for Heavy-Duty Bulk Materials
The ZS Type Vibrating Screen is a high-performance separation system engineered using self-synchronized vibration principles. It is specifically designed for the demanding requirements of metallurgy, mining, coal, and construction material industries. Whether handling sinter, natural ore, coke, or other granular materials, the ZS series ensures precise classification and high throughput. Equipped with high-performance vibration motors as the excitation source and heavy-duty wear-resistant screen plates, the ZS series offers a long service life and exceptional screening efficiency even under the most abrasive conditions.
Advanced Damping & Dust-Tight Sealing
To withstand the intense impact of heavy industrial loads, the ZS series utilizes specialized rubber springs as vibration dampeners. Compared to traditional steel springs, rubber isolators provide superior damping, significantly reducing operational noise and minimizing the dynamic load transmitted to the building foundation. Combined with our advanced eccentric pressure sealing technology, the ZS series effectively contains dust during the grading process.

How Does It Work?
Dual-Motor Synchronized Excitation
The ZS series utilizes two identical vibration motors mounted symmetrically on the screen body. Based on the self-synchronization principle, when the two motors rotate in opposite directions, the centrifugal forces generated cancel each other out in the direction perpendicular to the screen surface and overlap in the direction parallel to it, creating a powerful linear resultant force.
Parabolic Material Movement
Under this linear force, the screen body drives the material to move in a continuous parabolic tossing motion. Undersized material falls through the screen mesh into the lower hopper for collection, while oversized material travels forward and is discharged from the front outlet. This “non-friction” tossing mechanism, shared by our PSLS and PSL series, drastically reduces direct wear on the screen surface, ensuring consistent grading accuracy over time. sing through the resonance zone.

What Are Its Uses?
Optimized for Abrasive and High-Density Solids
In metallurgy and steel applications, the system processes abrasive sinter, pellets, and coke to ensure correct grain size before furnace charging. For mining and coal sectors, it is ideal for dewatering, desliming, and grading various metallic ores and raw coal. In building materials and chemical production, it enables precise screening of crushed stone, gypsum, and chemical powders within a fully enclosed, dust-free system.
Cross-Series Technical Synergy
The ZS Series integrates seamlessly with our other vibrating solutions to form a complete processing line. For feeding operations, it can be paired with the PSL Fully Balanced Conveyor for stable material supply. For thermal handling where materials exceed 200°C, we recommend our SZF Inertial Hot Material Conveyor. If your facility has foundation sensitivity or strict vibration limits, you can compare this setup with our PSLS Three-Mass Balanced Screening Conveyor.tional flexibility allows it to seamlessly integrate into various production stages.
FAQ & VOTERS
What is the difference between the ZS Type Vibrating Screen and the ZS Motor-Driven Conveyor?
While both use vibration motors, their functional focus differs. The ZS Type Vibrating Screen is optimized for grading and separation, featuring reinforced wear plates and a specific incline for material sizing. Conversely, the ZS Conveyor is designed for material transport, focusing on modular trough designs like U-type or pipe configurations and multi-point discharge.
Why use rubber springs instead of steel springs?
In heavy-duty mining applications, rubber springs provide higher internal damping. This configuration effectively absorbs resonance during startup and shutdown, operates with significantly lower noise, and offers better resistance to corrosion in damp environments, which ultimately protects the motor from instantaneous shock.
How easy is it to replace the screen plates?
The ZS series features eccentric pressure sealing technology, allowing for rapid replacement. By loosening the eccentric clamping device, screen plates can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement, minimizing downtime in high-volume production lines.
Technical Tip: Periodically check that the two motors are rotating in opposite directions and ensure all fasteners are tightened to the specified torque to maintain the self-synchronization stability of your ZS Type Vibrating Screen.
